Description of Service
This service provides faculty, staff, and researchers with access to safe handling, moving, pickup, delivery, and relocation of all university assets from one university location to another.
This service includes support for:
- Office moves such as, rearranging office furniture and moving furniture from one office location to another.
- Equipment moves (e.g. lab equipment).
- Moves of other institutional materials (e.g. filing cabinets, document boxes, surplus furniture, etc.).

Core Hours: 8:00 am–4:30 pm Monday to Friday
After Hours: N/A
Service Standards
- The complexity of the request and the volume of the work will determine the time to resolution. As a guideline, please allow a minimum of five business days for planning and scheduling.
Service Exclusions, Limitations, and Restrictions
- If your move request is related to a project already in progress, contact the project manager or reference your work order.
- Depending on the nature of the work, scheduling, and lead time will vary.
- Requests for moves are high-volume and are also subject to seasonal demand. Advance notice will help improve scheduling and reduce wait times.
Service Charges
- Units are responsible for costs associated with office and equipment moves.
